Update 1.6.2

by Space Tour

March has just begun, and we’re already releasing one of the most feature-packed updates of the past few months. Thanks to everyone who shares ideas and reports bugs — many of the improvements in this release were implemented based directly on your feedback.

1. Enhanced Mini Map

The mini map is now smarter and more flexible for large and complex projects.

It now remembers the layer where a marker is placed. When navigating the map, the correct layer automatically opens for the user — whether it’s a floor, building section, or specific location. This is especially useful for multi-level projects and complex navigation scenarios.

We also added a subtle animation to the active marker so users can always see their current position within the project.

You can now replace the mini map image without deleting the layer. Existing hotspots can also be moved to a new position on the map without needing to recreate them.

When the mini map is expanded to fullscreen and a hotspot is selected, the map automatically collapses, keeping the interface clean and focused on the scene.

We also fixed mini map behavior in tours exported to external domains.

2. Tool Improvements & Interface Logic

Fixed an issue with hotspot repositioning when using custom icons or working with unpublished tours.

We also made several small improvements to interface logic, making interactions with the editor more predictable and stable.

The Form Builder tool has been aligned with the mini map structure. While both tools are technically similar, they serve different purposes. Form Builder is primarily designed for floor selection and aerial-view navigation scenarios, but now follows a more unified workflow.

3. Polygon Layering

Previously, it wasn’t possible to draw a new polygon on top of an existing one. Now polygons support layers. Previously created areas remain underneath, while new ones can be placed above them. This allows more complex zone highlighting and interactive scenarios.

4. Panorama Resolution & Optimization

The maximum panorama resolution for the Air plan has been increased to 16K (16000 × 8000 px) — a significant improvement for users working with highly detailed environments.

We also implemented additional optimization for panoramas captured with 360 cameras. We’ll share more details about this in a separate update.

5. New Navigation Icons

New floor navigation icons have been added — perspective-style arrows that naturally align with the floor surface and integrate better into the scene.

Update 1.6.2 makes working with large and multi-level projects significantly easier. We’re continuing to develop Space Tour step by step, improving navigation, performance, and editor flexibility.

We’d love to hear your feedback.
